The AXIS™ Cord Style Auto Glass Cut Out Tool - Tool Only is a professional auto glass removal tool designed for technicians who already have their preferred cutting cord, sockets, ratchet, insertion tools, and accessories. Built for efficient windshield and automotive glass removal, the AXIS™ provides controlled cord tension and cutting direction through its dual independent spindle design, making it easier to manage the cutting process as the cord moves around corners, through deep urethane, and across different glass shapes.
The AXIS™ features two independently controlled spindles that allow technicians to manage cutting cord tension and direction throughout the removal process. Each spindle can be switched independently between ratcheting and free-spooling operation, giving technicians greater control as the cut progresses.
With standard 5/16" hex drives, the AXIS™ works with commonly available sockets and can be operated using a compatible ratchet or drill. This flexible drive system allows technicians to use the equipment and accessories they already have without requiring proprietary drive adapters.
The AXIS™ incorporates a soft, high-tack base cup and integrated manual vacuum pump to help secure the tool to the glass during removal. The mounting system is also designed to accept the GT Tools Mini SuperPump™ for technicians who want to upgrade to automatic vacuum assistance.
A glass-filled polymer body, hardened steel wear components, reinforced internal construction, and overmolded grip zones provide a durable platform for demanding shop and mobile auto glass applications. The AXIS™ is designed to provide consistent control during repeated cord-style glass removal jobs.
This AXIS™ configuration is ideal for professional auto glass technicians who already have compatible cutting cord and supporting accessories. We want to ensure you're completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please contact our customer service team within 30 days of purchase. A 15% restocking fee will apply to all returns. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds will be processed once the returned items are received and inspected at the warehouse.
All package sales are final due to the complexity of shipping the equipment. The total purchase price should be paid in full before shipment. When items are passed to the shipping carrier they are responsible for delivery. The equipment is covered solely by the manufacturer's warranty. The Buyer should inspect the equipment upon receipt and notify the Seller of any discrepancies as soon as possible. Let's get calibrating!
