The GT Tools Urethane Knotch Cutter (AGUNC) is a specialized hand tool designed to create consistent V-shaped notches in urethane adhesive dispensing nozzles. Ideal for professional auto glass technicians and windshield replacement specialists, this tool simplifies nozzle preparation and helps achieve a more uniform urethane bead during windshield installation.
Cutting a V-notch in a urethane nozzle with a utility knife can be difficult and produce inconsistent results. The GT Tools Urethane Knotch Cutter offers a more controlled alternative, allowing technicians to shape dispensing nozzles with a simple squeeze of the handles.
Designed for straightforward operation, the cutter creates V-shaped notches measuring 1/4 inch or larger, helping prepare urethane dispensing nozzles for adhesive application. To use, insert the cutter into the prepared nozzle until it stops, then squeeze the handles to form the notch.
Whether you're replacing windshields or performing routine auto glass installations, this urethane nozzle cutting tool provides a practical way to prepare adhesive dispensing tips while reducing the need to cut V-notches manually with a utility knife.
