Autel MaxiAlign IWA500: six-camera mobile alignment, 1975–current, and tablet
The Autel MaxiAlign IWA500 is a purpose-built wheel alignment system engineered to do one thing extremely well: deliver fast, precise, and repeatable alignments. With broad vehicle coverage supporting U.S., Asian, and European models from 1975 to current production, its advanced guided workflow begins with server-based vehicle identification, followed by a comprehensive all-systems pre-scan, undercarriage inspection, and tire tread depth and pressure analysis to ensure optimal alignment conditions. Using a mobile six-camera frame, the IWA500 performs standard alignment measurements (rolling diameter, symmetry values) as well as advanced, precise checks such as bump steer, raised-vehicle analysis, wheel-off adjustment, and MaxiToe—Autel’s innovative toe-adjustment feature that ensures a perfectly centered steering wheel without a holder.
Fully portable from bay to bay, the IWA500 reduces setup and alignment time, delivers real-time feedback for rapid corrections, and streamlines verification and reporting, making it a high-value, high-throughput alignment solution for professional shops. The system includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen wireless MaxiAlign IWA500 tablet with Bluetooth MaxiVCI V200, four rim clamps with positioning targets, and essential accessories, including two wheel chocks, a brake pedal depressor, a steering wheel holder stand tool, an equipment cover, a tablet holder, and AC and 12/24 V power cords. Compatible with Autel’s Bluetooth-enabled hand-held Inclinometer to aid alignment on Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The IWA500 produces highly detailed, validated alignment reports that are easy to save, print, or share digitally. The tablet comes with a year of software updates, and the system, including the tablet, is covered by a one-year limited warranty.
