The GT Tools DiamondClear™ MV Windshield Repair Resin is a professional-grade, medium-viscosity resin designed to repair common windshield chips and cracks while restoring optical clarity and reinforcing damaged glass. Developed for auto glass technicians, windshield repair specialists, and automotive service shops, this UV-curable resin provides controlled application and reliable bonding for professional windshield repairs.
Featuring a balanced medium-viscosity formula, DiamondClear MV penetrates damaged areas while allowing technicians to manage resin flow during application. It is suitable for repairing bullseye chips, star breaks, combination breaks, and short cracks, making it a versatile choice for routine automotive glass repair services.
The resin's refractive index closely matches automotive glass, helping repaired areas blend with the surrounding windshield and reducing the visibility of damage. Its UV-stabilized formulation resists yellowing and discoloration, while the durable bond helps reinforce the repaired area and limit further damage.
Designed for Professional Windshield Repair
GT Tools DiamondClear MV is recommended for use at temperatures between 65°F and 85°F. The resin is applied using a professional windshield repair injector or applicator and cured with a UV lamp or direct sunlight. After curing, excess resin can be removed and the surface polished for a smooth, clear finish.
Available in 15 cc and 30 cc bottles, DiamondClear MV also offers Clear, Blue-Green, Amber, and Gray color options for different windshield repair requirements.
For technicians who regularly perform windshield chip repairs, GT Tools DiamondClear MV provides an adaptable resin solution for improving repair appearance and supporting the integrity of the damaged glass.
Caution: For cracks measuring 6 inches or longer, GT Tools recommends its dedicated long-crack repair resin and equipment rather than the MV formula.
