The Ford Diagnostic Ecosystem at a Glance

  • Interface Compatibility: Works natively with the official VCM 3 and certified J2534 passthrough devices.
2. Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS)
IDS is Ford's legacy and hands-on dealership diagnostic platform. It provides deep diagnostics for older vehicle platforms that do not utilize the newer cloud network.
