2025 has come to an end and 2026 is upon us. We wanted to highlight some of our prior pieces, while combining them with some new insights, which should better prepare your vehicle diagnostic and ADAS calibrations business for 2026.
2025 Survey Results
Our hallmark survey was run again this year in 2025. We found that the respondents were still seeing on average 30% growth over the last 12 months, and were forecasting 20%+ growth over the next 12 months. The takeaway from this is: be prepared for more growth if you’re already doing ADAS calibrations, no matter if you’re collision repair, glass repair, or a specialty sublet. The growth will continue because of all of the following: more ADAS-equipped vehicles on the road, more ADAS systems per vehicle, and increased awareness of ADAS. In addition, another takeaway from this is knowing that insurance is always going to be a battle. Make sure to get all the right documentation so that you’re covered.
Battery Support Unit Cheat-Sheet and Our Guide To Battery Maintainers
With every year, power supply requirements increase. This is because the electrical content and draw for each of these vehicles continues to increase with every new launch; BMW and Mercedes already are pushing requirements for 100A+, so check your battery support unit. One bricked ECU will cost you far more than what these power supplies cost, so make sure that you have the right unit with sufficient power. The details and specs are important here.
How to do ADAS Sales
Sales are not something that most people in this industry have much experience with. We tend to see problems and fix them, rather than try to persuade people to use you over other competing outfits. The takeaway in this article is that, to maximize ADAS revenues and to win over new customers, it’s important to set up face-to-face meetings with the right people. In 2026, you can up your game by reading this article, and have the confidence to pitch ADAS calibration services to other businesses.
The ROI on New Equipment (and when Financing it too)
In an industry poised for growth, we need to think about expanding our toolset. Spending the capital that came in from other operations, or even calibrations, sometimes feels tough. Yet if you have the opportunity to grow, we believe you should. This article highlights an important takeaway, which is that getting into the space requires capital investment; this space may not be for you if you’ve gone through our formula, but we think that anyone doing even a moderate amount of calibrations would still benefit.
Going into 2026, we expect continued growth in ADAS calibration volume, increased electrical demands from newer vehicles, and more scrutiny from insurers. Shops that invest in the right tools, documentation, and processes will be best positioned to succeed.
These are just some of the pieces we wrote this year to set your business up for success in 2026. Feel free to reach out to us anytime with any questions about vehicle diagnostics and ADAS calibrations.
